Measure Of Love

This weekend I co-hosted a really amazing class called Measure Of Love. I partnered with demonstrator Missy Shipman and we designed a colorful and creative class that featured fun projects and sweet surprises!

Here is a photo featuring our class projects. On the far left you can see our optional “Blends Box” Add-On.

Missy and Cindy’s Measure Of Love Class

In today’s post I’m gonna share a little bit about each project.

Let me start with one of the first surprises. The Measure of Love stamp set was wrapped in a tea towel that was tied with a red ribbon. Hanging from the ribbon was a set of these adorable heart shaped measuring spoons. Missy designed the adorable spoon shaped tag using the fabulous Give It A Whirl Dies.

The first project in our class was a friendship card that I designed. It featured a punch art “CINDY”. I used our new Penguin Builder Punch and the Ice Cream Cone Builder punch to create this image.

All of our projects featured the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper which is a hostess special designer paper you can purchase with a qualifying order.

Prior to our class, Missy and I did our first YouTube video premier in which we talked about our class and showed how to create these punch art pieces. To watch, click the video link below:

The next project in the class was this fun split front card that Missy designed. Look how cute the striped cupcake liners are!!! Missy showed several ways to create fun and colorful cupcake liners.

When you open up the card there is a hidden sentiment inside. You can also see a sneak peek of the simple way we decorated the flap of the envelope to make it match this card. How fun!

Project number three was also a Missy project. This happy sliding treat had a pocket built in for a ruler. Each of our guests were surprised to receive a soft flexible ruler to make their project complete.

The final project was designed by me. It was a card in a box. I showed how you can hide an accordion fold card inside a Classic Treat Box. Can you see the happy and cute punch art Missy I designed for this project?

The video tutorials of how to make all of these projects are exclusively for those who took the class. However, be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel where in a few days, I will be releasing video featuring a different version of the card in a box project using the Pirates and Mermaids stamp set.

One of the other little surprises our guests received was a bone folder packaged in a fun origami treat pouch. Here is a video tutorial where you can learn how to make this fun pouch that requires no scoring!

Missy and I have been friends for many years but we only recently discovered that we both have a passion for creating events with fun surprises that we hope will make our guests feel happy, loved and appreciated. Collaborating with Missy was such a delight. It didn’t matter that she lives 4,808 miles away from me!! We were able to plan over Zoom and FaceTime where in addition to brainstorming she would occasionally take me outside to see the squirrels playing in her backyard, something I don’t get to see here in Hawaii.

We were both so overjoyed by the response to this kit that we actually prepped additional kits that will be available while supplies last.

To read all about our kit offering or to purchase a kit click this link: MEASURE OF LOVE or to order a kit through Missy you can visit her Glad Heart Studio on Facebook.

There is also an optional blends box “add-on” that can be purchased as well and if you purchase it before the end of saleabration, you can add a free saleabration set to your class kit.

And as if that wasn’t enough. I am running a special during the last few days of Saleabration. I’ll share more about it tomorrow but just know that there will be an additional surprise project in your Measure Of Love kit or any $35 ore more order you place with me from now til the end of September. If you want to place an online order with me, please use HOST CODE: YF3FTK4G or you can call or email me and I’ll be happy to assist you.

Thank you very much to all who purchased this kit from us and a special thanks to those who stamped along with us live at our virtual class yesterday. If that was you, feel free to leave a comment and share what you loved most about this class in the comments below.

We hope that you loved this creative experience as much as we did and we look forward to another creative collaboration in the future.

With Glad Hearts and Stamped Blessings,

Cindy and Missy
