Congratulations Graduates

Graduation season is here again. It has been really neat to see how people have found creative and fun ways to celebrate their graduates. One of the things I’ve noticed in my community are signs and banners decorating the homes of graduates. I think this is really a great way to honor and celebrate them. Knowing that this class has had to endure unexpected challenges makes me want to celebrate them even more.

Last year at this time, I created these Graduation Gown cards. You can read about these cards in my post entitled, Hawaii Graduations.

Graduation Gown Cards

This year I decided to revamp this card after working with the new Artistially Inked stamp set. This is the set that is featured on the front of our new catalog and it is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. I realized after playing with the set that the leaves look similar to maile leaves which makes stamping a maile lei super easy.

Here is the updated version of my card.

I even made a fancy zipper using the Stitched Triangle Dies.

I also used my In Bloom stamp set to make a maile lei on a different graduation card. In this sample below, you can see how I die cut the letters GRAD using the Playful Alphabet Dies.

Then I took the letters I had cut out from this card and used them to form the card below.

Don’t the cut out letters look fun?

I hope that graduates all over the world will feel proud of their accomplishments and look forward to the next chapter in their lives. I know this year hasn’t been easy, but I am hopeful that the challenges this class has faced has united them and made them stronger.

Also as we celebrate them, let’s not forget the teachers and parents who supported this class and faced many challenges themselves working so hard to help them succeed. You all deserve to be honored and celebrated!!

Congratulations Class of 2021.

With Love and Many Blessings,
