Tropical Stamp Camp

Yesterday, I had to send a painful email to let our stamp camp attendees know that we would no longer be having an “in person” event. You see, our Tropical themed camp was set for March 14th, 2020 and that was right around the time our state shut down and large gatherings were no longer safe! This was a huge disappointment because of all the hours my team put in to plan and prep for this fun Tropical themed event. I was especially looking forward to seeing everyone because I missed the last one due to being in the middle of cancer treatments. Even though these events are a ton of work, we really enjoy being a part of sharing the products we love with people that we love.

At first, we postponed the event. The new date came and went and we planned to postpone once again, but a few days ago during a zoom meeting, we realized that we shouldn’t keep delaying this event! We wanted our guests to see the fabulous products we were using before some of them retired on June 2nd.

So today, I will be sharing our camp projects with all of you. So you don’t miss out either!

Our camp featured projects designed with the Tropical Oasis Suite. This is on pages 38-40 of our current mini catalog.

Tropical Oasis Stamp Camp 2020

Let’s take a closer look.

Pineapple Tea Light

This mini tea light is SUPER SIMPLE to make using one of our Clear Acetate Tiny Treat boxes. The In the Tropics Dies are gorgeous. Don’t you LOVE this pineapple shape? I am glad that these dies made it to our new catalog as I plan on using them on many more projects. Remember to use a battery operated tea light in this project and not an actual candle. This would also work just as a little party favor box if you don’t want to use it as a tea light!

The next project is made with our All Dressed Up Dies. Thankfully, these are also in our new catalog. I die cut one of the purses using Crumb Cake Card Stock and ran it through the Coastal Weave Embossing folder to create this Lauhala look.

Lauhala Bag and Card

This bag holds 3 Thank You cards with envelopes. The cards were also embossed with the Coastal Weave Embossing Folder. Sadly, that folder is retiring on June 2nd, 2020. So if you don’t have it, now is the time to order!

The final project is my FAVORITE. It is a four part project.

Part one is this fabulous box designed by my downline and friend Zeny Lucey. The cards on this box are a part of the Tropical Oasis Memories and More Card Pack. These are retiring on June 2nd also and only available now, while supplies last. These cards make crafting easy. I used them to create the pretty design on the top of the box as well as on the cards inside the box. You’ll see those in a minute!

Tropical Oasis Card Box

Each plumeria flower on this box is adorned with a Champagne Rhinestone. Thankfully, these stones are in the new catalog. Sadly, the beautiful Tropical Oasis Trinkets that you see on this project as well as on one of the cards are already sold out! I am thankful that everyone who registered for camp will be getting these in their kit.

Tropical Oasis Box with Cards

I think of all the projects, these three cards are my favorite. The Tropical Oasis Memories and More Cards are so gorgeous, I love all three of these and the vintage look they have.

Tropical Oasis Vintage Cards

It’s hard to appreciate in the photo but each of these sparkle because of the Champagne Rhinestone Jewels that are on them.

It’s a sad time to see some of these fabulous products get retired. However, it is also a very exciting time because our new catalog is here and will go live on June 3rd. If you would like a copy of it, please contact me and I will let you know how you can get one from me.

When our team met, it was sad at first to discuss the canceling of our “in person” event. However, before the end of the call we cheered each other up as we made plans to mail our kits, filled with aloha for each of our special guests. We are hopeful that a day will come when we will all be together again, “loving what we do and sharing what we love.”

SWA CAMP LEADERS ZOOM

As, I have been working on this post, I have received over 20 email responses from our guests who just found out the news about camp. EVERY SINGLE response has been positive, loving and understanding. It makes me so happy to be connected to such wonderful people. I hope when they receive our Stamp Camp in the mail kit that they will enjoy every minute of all we have prepared for them!

I wanted to remind you that some of the projects we are using will be retiring SOON. So, if you would like to order any of these products, please let me know or head on over to my online store to purchase. I have several new videos on my YOUTUBE channel, you can CLICK HERE to see my latest creations and don’t forget to subscribe so you can continue to be notified when I post new content.

I wanted to share two videos on this post because they feature the Tropical Oasis Memories and More Cards that I love so much.

As the start of a new catalog approaches, I am looking into launching virtual classes. I will keep you updated as my plans progress.

I love spending creative time with you and sharing projects that I hope will fill you with inspiration, creativity, encouragement and love.

With Aloha and Many Blessings,

Cindy
