Birthday Goodness
Craving something sweet this Saturday morning? Well, I have a sweet card to share with you! I created this card for my friend Pam who celebrated her birthday this month. When I create cards for specific occasions, I always think about the recipient and what reminds me of them. When I think of Pam, I think of her passion for food. So, when creating Pam’s card, I reached for the stamp set called Birthday Goodness. Instead of using the doughnut stamp image in the set, I just used one of the sentiments and then created some yummy doughnuts of my own.
The doughnuts were created with our Layering Circle Dies. I added Shimmery Crystal Effects to the chocolate doughnut and Assorted Iridescent Sequins to the pink doughnut. This card is SUPER EASY to make. You can follow my video tutorial below to learn how.
I am really grateful for Pam’s friendship. When I was half way through my treatment for cancer, I made the decision to become a vegan. This change was hard in the beginning because I was often to weak and tired to make healthy meals. Pam was a huge help to me during this season. Pam came over on more than one occasion to cook healthy food for me. I was extremely blessed by her kindness to me during that challenging season.
I don’t eat a lot of doughnuts any more! However, I’m glad I can still make them! The best part about these doughnuts is that they are sure to bring a smile to the face of the person you give them to even though they are sugar-free, gluten-free, fat-free and vegan!!!
Remember, there is only a short time left to order from our current catalog. Let me know if there are any items you need and don’t forget to place your orders before the end of the month. The Birthday Goodness stamp set and the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper that I used on this card are both on the retired list. So don’t delay, order today!
Have a happy and blessed Saturday!
With Love and Sugar Free Blessings,
Cindy
