The Peace Project
I just came home from my monthly appointment at the Cancer Center. I had some extra tests done because I’ve been feeling a little more tired than usual. After battling cancer and with the pandemic happening, any strange symptoms I experience quickly rob me of my peace. I was sharing with a friend the other day that when I had cancer, it was easy to be at peace. I knew exactly what I had to do. Eating right, finding rest, isolating myself from large groups of people and staying positive were a new way of life for me. Now that I am in remission, I still try to eat right and try to rest and thanks to the pandemic, the isolating for me continues. I try to stay positive however, sometimes things happened that cause me to quickly fear. I think of all the “what if’s” and begin to allow fear to creep into my mind, robbing me of my peace.
In life, we will experience hills and valleys. In a split second, we can go from feeling joy, to feeling pain or sorrow. Life is full of the unexpected but the one thing we can hope for is no matter what life brings, we can learn to walk in peace.
I don’t know about you but peace has been something that has been hard to find and hold onto in this season. What I want more than anything is to experience more peace in my life so that no matter what situation I am in, I will not fear.
If peace is something you want more of, I want to invite you to my first faith based stampin’ class this weekend. The class is FREE. It is called, THE PEACE PROJECT. My mother in law, Alvena Baughman, will be sharing a message entitled, I WANT PEACE. Following her short message, I will be demonstrating how to make the project pictured below.
If you would like to attend, please email me at cindy@stampedwithaloha.com and I will forward you the registration link to join. Once the meeting starts I won’t be able to send out the link, so it would be best to contact me asap to let me know you’d like to come. This meeting will be taking place via ZOOM.
This one hour class will take place on Saturday, December 5th at 10 am HST.
I would love to have you join me, so together we can learn to find peace and hold onto it, even if we are in the midst of a storm. I look forward to this event because I know that I really need it!
I hope you will join me so together we can learn to walk in peace no matter where life takes us.
Peaceful Wishes,
Cindy
