Warm Wishes

This year has flown by and I’m kind of glad it has. I actually am really looking forward to it being over. It’s been a tough one, wouldn’t you agree?

I have spent much of this challenging season in my stamp studio. I am thankful that being stuck at home means I have a lot more time to create projects to bless others. In addition to creating projects which is something I love to do, I have also been spending countless hours working on things that I swore I’d never do. I have learned to host virtual classes and team meetings, film and edit YouTube videos and how to go “live” on Facebook. It feels good to have let go of the fear of trying some of these things. It also feels great to say that I am enjoying connecting with people virtually. I didn’t think that was possible, but it is!

More than anything I am choosing to focus on the good that has come out of the challenges I’ve faced. I’ve overcome fear, embraced change and realized more than ever before how important it is to encourage others. I am glad I have the ability to do that through hand stamped creations. I mean in the midst of all thats going on today, who wouldn’t want to receive a hand made card created with love and filled with warm wishes?

With Christmas being only 58 days away, did I just stress you out by saying that?, I want to show you some of the recent projects I’ve created with the Poinsettia Petals suite. I actually just shared these projects as part of my monthly Aloha Mail card kits. There are three projects in my Poinsettia Place series.

The first card is this beautiful Warm Wishes Card. I especially love the soft colors. I used this same color palette on all the projects I’ll be sharing with you today. The colors are Soft Sea Foam, Petal Pink, Soft Suede and Early Espresso.

The Poinsettia Petals bundle is my absolute favorite from our Holiday Catalog. I just love how the dies cut and emboss the petals. Of the three projects I’m going to show you today, this is the only one that has a stamped background. That is because I want to make it easy for those purchasing my kits to be able to reproduce these cards even if they don’t own the Poinsettia Petals stamp set. In my kit offering this month, I provided an alternate sample of this card that used Poinsettia Place Designer Paper in place of the stamped background.

The second card I created was this shadow box card. This time when I assembled the flower, I used one less petal so you’d be able to see more of the beautiful Poinsettia Place designer series paper in the background.

The final card in this series is a round card. I placed the card onto one of our round tins.

This is actually a thank you card. You can either place it on top of the tin and fill the tin with treats or make a few of these unique cards and fill the tin with them.

If you like these projects and want to recreate them, here are three video tutorials you can follow.

Although Christmas IS just 58 days away, don’t worry. There is plenty of time to be creative and find ways to spread Warm Wishes to bless and encourage those who really need it in this season.

My mind has been spinning with lots of creative ways to encourage and bless others during the unique holiday season that is just around the corner. I hope you’ll come back and visit my blog again soon to see my latest projects that I hope will inspire and encourage your creativity!

Warm Wishes,

Cindy
