6 Safari Celebration Alternative Paper Pumpkin Cards

I had a lot of fun creating Safari Celebration Alternative Paper Pumpkin cards with the February 2022 kit. I can’t wait to share all of the alternate cards I made with this colorful & fun kit.

Want all the details? You’ll want to be sure and watch the video!

If you are familiar with my style, I’m sure you expected I would do something like this with the chimpanzee. What a fun card, right?!

Safari Alternative Paper Pumpkin Card 2:

This card features a “peek-a-boo” Gazelle who may appear to have been hunted but is actually alive and well and ready to celebrate as all Gazelles should, with a cupcake!

Let’s feature the Elephant! I used the envelope that came in the Paper Pumpkin kit to create a fun fold on the front of the card.

I accidentally cut the envelope too short when I went to make this card. I believe there are no mistakes in stamping. Instead of demonstrating the card above that featured one flap, I shared this card instead.

I adhered the envelope flap to a cropped Basic White Note Card. So this card now has two flaps - how fun! Under the envelope flap, I stamped the words, “Let’s Celebrate”. Then when you open the second flap, you can see below how I used elements from the Paper Pumpkin kit to create a gift card holder.

My final safari alternative card features the elephant image cropped down a bit. This card front also shows the beautiful Monstera leaf stamp that was a part of this kit.

When you open this card you can see how I used the part of the card base that I cut off to create a pop-up section.

I love the animals in this kit but I am well aware that not everyone is a fan of cutesy animals. So, I made a couple of other safari celebration alternative cards to share. You can see how versatile this set is, right?!

The Aloha card uses everything that comes in the kit with the exception of a scrap piece of Rich Razzleberry cardstock that I die cut using Laura’s Tape Technique and the Playful Alphabet Dies. If you don’t have these dies then you could use one of the sentiments from the kit and just stamp it right in the middle.

The final safari celebration alternative card uses the remaining pieces I had in the kit combined with some cardstock because I was running out of kit contents.

I love a card with a positive message! This one not only has that but also do you see the little “aloha” I added at the top? This was made when I embossed a white piece of card stock with the ‘Thanks and Hello’ Embossing Folder.

If you have this kit, you now have a few more ideas of what you can do with it!

If you aren’t a Paper Pumpkin subscriber or you already used the pieces in your kit, you can still copy these layouts with other products.

I enjoyed working with the Safari Celebration kit and hope you enjoyed the cards I shared today!

Have a happy and blessed day!

Cindy
