Artfully Composed Cards
I today's post I will share with you all of the tropical projects that were shared at my Taste of the Tropics class. I can honestly say it was one of my most favorite classes of all time. I say that because of all the positive feedback that came from those who attended the live class. I co-hosted this class with demonstrator Missy Shipman and we were most excited about the final class project which was a project with a purpose. That is the first project I want to share with you today.
This sweet treat box was converted into a box filled with tropical Aloha Notes. These little love notes are designed so that you can carry them with you and use them throughout the day to share those you want to bless, thank, or encourage. They can be shared in various ways and are sure to brighten the day for anyone who receives one.
Here is a video tutorial so you can learn how easy it is to create this little box of love notes.
In addition to making the #alohanotes box we also taught 3 fun fold cards at our class
Let’s take a closer look at these cards.
This first card features two fussy cut monstera leaves that came from the Artistically Composed Designer Paper. This paper is so gorgeous, we didn’t have to add a lot of stamping to these cards. We only used the sentiments from the Artistically Layered stamp set to complete all of our cards.
This second card is a fun pocket card that Missy designed. I love the die cut monstera on this card. I also love the front fold on this card so that the beautiful inside of the designer paper is exposed.
The final fun fold card looked like this. Did you notice that all three cards are adorned with a small, medium and large Iridescent Jewel Rhinestones?
This card is one of my favorite fun fold cards because of the three panels on the front. Folding a card like this gives you the opportunity to feature three different pieces of pretty paper. I choose to feature two different ones for this card. This card also has a pocket inside that is the perfect place to tuck a note or gift card.
This class also included a little tropical swag bag filled with tropical candy treats, pineapple tea, a handmade notebook and pen and a tropical flower that could be worn during our live class.
So now you’ve seen all the fun projects we created at our Taste Of The Tropics class. I hope these projects will inspire you to spread a little aloha, one card at a time.
If you were a part of this class, be sure to leave a comment below and let us know which project was your favorite!
Stamped Blessings,
