Painted Wishes Alternate Card Ideas

I recently taught a group of relatively new crafters, and guess what? They were whipping up stunning cards with the Painted Wishes Kit in no time! The creativity didn’t stop there. I’ve got a video packed with alternate card designs that are simple to make. Get ready to see the Painted Wishes Kit bloom in a lovely new way!

The class was designed to teach people how to emboss, so I provided strips of cardstock cut to the exact same dimensions and used them a little differently on each card to create three unique designs.

I also took two of the cards and put them together combining the birthday card with the friendship card. By doing so I created a fun fold card!

This is what the front of the card looks like.

I then created this card but mounted it on the card so that the opening was on the left. After finishing the card front, I adhered it to the inside of the card pictured above.

When you open up the second card this bright embossed panel is revealed where you can write a message to the recipient. This Granny Apple Green Piece came from this kit. I just added embossing with our new gorgeous Layered Floral 3D Embossing Folder.

I didn’t have to do any die cutting. The white shape above is one of the sentiment pieces from the kit that was written in german. Since I don’t speak german or have a friend to send this to who does, I flipped it over and used the back side. That way there was no waste of materials in this kit.

In the sample below I took that same green piece and flipped it over and embossed the white side!

This was a really fun kit to work with. I really enjoyed the class and all the new friends I made.

I hope by watching my video you will see how easy it is to create beautiful cards in just a matter of minutes! These cards are sure to bless and brighten the day of your friends and loved ones.

With love and blessings,

Cindy
