Penguin Place

When I flipped through the pages of our newest mini catalog, I immediately fell in love with the Penguin Place Bundle.

Penguin Place Bundle

After my order arrived, I invited Jodi Hashimoto over to stamp with me. Jodi is a very talented stamper and member of my team. Jodi loves critters so I knew she would love working with these adorable penguins.

As we worked on projects we came up with a few fun ways to use the new punch.

My favorite thing Jodi came up with is how to use the punch to make sunglasses. It’s so simple to do and in just a couple of steps you can make a whole variety of Ray Bans for your “cool” Penguin.

Of course you could probably easily guess where I went to first with this punch….. YUP, I used the punch to make a bikini top and hula skirt.

After playing around with this bundle, here is the first card I designed. This one was created for a special swap I was in.

Cook Penguin Card

I punched this Penguin out of our Black Glimmer Paper so he really sparkles! I also added the “LTT” or Laura’s Tape Technique to the glasses. If you want to learn how to do this fun and fabulous technique, be sure to watch my video tutorial at the end of this post.

The next card I created was a birthday card with a gift card pocket inside.

You can’t see it in the photo but I used Laura’s Tape Technique on the balloon image too, so the balloon shines when you move this card.

When you open this card there is a gift card pocket on the left and a “cool” penguin friend on the right, just waiting there to make you smile.

Since I don’t get to see Jodi very often cause of her busy schedule, we stamped together til the wee hours of the morning. It was not only a products time but also a lot of fun. Jodi has a lot of wonderful projects to share. You can check out her website by clicking here: The Stamping Owl.

If you’d like to learn how to make my hula girl birthday card and see the unique ways Jodi and I used the punch, just click the video tutorial below.

Our July to December 2021 Mini Catalog is available now and so is our Sale-A-Bration brochure. If you didn’t get a copy of these and want one, please let me know. One of the Sale-A-Bration items you can get for free with a qualifying $50 (US) order is the adorable Penguin Playmates DSP.

Isn’t it ADORABLE?

Well I hope you enjoyed seeing the first projects I’ve made with the Penguin Place bundle. I’m sure there will be many more to come.

Have a happy and blessed day,

Cindy
