Grateful For You

Something crazy happened last night. I was in mid sentence while hosting a Zoom Inspiration Night meeting when “POOF” my computer screen went blank. Immediate worry set in as I thought of the 30 guests that I was hosting!! I wondered if the meeting ended abruptly for them too. When I finally managed to get back online there were only 5 ladies left. I felt bad that I didn’t get to say goodbye, especially since my friend demonstrator Lynsay Mahon was a guest presenter at our gathering and I wanted to thank her for the amazing job she did.

The ladies that were still on were all smiles and they assured me that even though I got booted out of my own meeting, they covered for me and all ended well.

I am so grateful to be surrounded by such an awesome team who love and support me despite my technical difficulties, even though I’m fairly certain I was not to blame for last night’s issue!!

Well, speaking of being grateful, that was the theme of our gathering. I featured projects that I designed using the Beautiful Autumn bundle. Let’s take a closer look.

Project one was a Thank You Card. The leaves were stamped with images from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set and punched out with the coordinating punches.

The next project I shared was a Gratitude Journal.

Beautiful Autumn Gratitude Journal

This journal features the same Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper as the card did. It also has a cute Acorn Trinket hanging near the heart focal point. I loved creating a project that I know will be used to encourage the one who uses it so they can record the things they’re grateful for.

Here is a video tutorial for the journal.

The final project was a Gratitude Tin. I was able to use every single sentiment stamp in the Beautiful Autumn set on this project. The outside of the tin reads: “Life is better with you”.

Inside the tin there are 5 small cards with different sentiments on them. This project is designed so that you can write notes of appreciation on each card to bless and encourage the person you love to “do life” with

I had a lot of fun working on these projects. I LOVED that they were focused on gratitude and the designs made me think of Fall, one of my favorite times of the year.

I realized this Fall season is going to look a little diffierent than usual. There are so many challenges all around us. There are many things happening that are causing people to feel down. I loved working on projects that I know will be used in a positive way. I want to do what I can to spread positivity and hope! Do you want to join me in this effort? Send a thank you card, tell a friend how much they mean to you and if you find yourself feeling low, write down things that you are grateful for. Doing this will lift you up and as you spread gratitude, that will lift up those around you. By spreading gratefullness, you are spreading hope and that is something that we all need a little bit more of these days.

Grateful for you,

Cindy

Here are some words of hope to encourage you!

May your unfailing love be with us, LORD, even as we put our hope in you. Psalm 33:22

But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31
