Prize Patrol (Hey, Love)

At this years stamp camp we did our prize patrol a little different. I asked each of my team members to create a prize with an image from the fun Hey, Love stamp set. By doing this, our guests got to see 5 different projects created with this adorable set.

Today, I am going to share our Prize Patrol projects, as well as some highlights from our stamp camp.

At this camp we offered two camp kits. A regular one, and a deluxe one. This was our first time offering something like this. Most of our guests took advantage of the deluxe offer. We weren’t sure if this would affect our check in process, but everything went so smoothly. Zeny assisted me at the check in table, Berd was standing by to pass out the basic kits and after everyone got settled, those who ordered deluxe kits, went to see Norine and Jodi (pictured in the back)

Welcome To Stamp Camp

When everyone checked in they choose a name tag. Each name tag was adorned with an image from the Hey, Love stamp set. We used all of the images in the set, except the Alligator.

Our first prize patrol was given to anyone who had the bird image on their name tag. Of course Berd, was the designer of this prize patrol. I say that because the little bird is super cute, just like Berd is. Oh and yes, there is also the reason that it is one of the smallest images and Berd is not a big fan of coloring, Lol.

Berd’s Prize Patrol and Name Tag

Berd explained how these were made without any adhesive. She made them in a variety of “In Colors”, they were all super cute!

These tiny triangle boxes were a hit and the perfect start for our first prize patrol.

Norine’s prize patrol was next!

Norine made this Stinkin’ Sweet Hand Sanitizer holder using the skunk image. I love the colors she chose, it matched perfectly with the hand sanitizer.

Isn’t this stinkin’ sweet?

Next up was a prize from Zeny. Zeny chose this little Gopher image and created a fancy box with a candy treat inside.

Zeny’s Prize Patrol

This little Gopher looks hungry! I bet he wishes he could eat the delicious treat Zeny put inside her box. Zeny loves snacks, especially chocolate! When she gives you a treat, her eyes light up as she describes it to you!

Zeny and her treats!

I can hear her now… “oooh, look what’s in my cute little box…. CHOCOLATE, yum, you want some???”

Jodi created a box with a treat inside too! Jodi, who is the Critter Queen, chose the cute little Otter image. Jodi came up with this cute saying and added a printed banner that read, “you otter be drinking hot chocolate”.

Inside Jodi’s cute box was all the fixings for a cup of hot cocoa with marshmallows.

My prize patrol was last. I had the Ape image. I did a different kind of a treat. I used one of our sweet cups to make a shave ice. Of course I forgot to take a close up photo of it. So here is a picture of the back of the project…. It’s still cute, don’t you think?

Bath Time Shave Ice

This Sweet Cup was filled with a bath scrubbie and topped with a bath bomb. I stamped an image from the set Beach Happy on a circle that I mounted to the back the Sweet Cup.

The front of the cup had the ape image. Below are some photos of the winners! If you get out a magnifying glass you can see the little ape image on the front of the cup!!!

Shave Ice Prize Patrol Winners

It makes us happy when people are excited to win the prizes we made! Just look at Martha’s smile!

Happy Campers

We also each made 5 grand door prize baskets. We wait until the end of camp to draw names and see who will win these special prizes filled with Stampin’ Up! products..

Betty wins a prize

It is always fun to see the excitement on the faces of the lucky winners.

Terry wins a prize

Since it was a candy themed event we surprised everyone and handed them a small wrapped chocolate bar. We then let everyone know that inside one of the bars was a tiny golden ticket. Everyone opened them at the same time and Berna was the lucky winner.

Berna is our golden girl

She was so excited to win this golden prize filled with Stampin’ Up! gold products that she immediately began to sing the Bruno Mars 24 Karat song! We are so happy she won, her musical celebration made our day!

Stamp Camp was really great. We so look forward to spending this day together.

The food at this camp was a delicious bento.

Pam is ready to eat

Pam is a major foodie so knowing she was happy, made us feel great!

It is amazing to gather together for some inspiration, creativity and fun. I love to see the joy on peoples faces when they greet one another. I love to see how everyone is so supportive and helpful to one another as they create together!

As I walked the room to check on everyone, I saw the joy on Cheryl’s face as she passed her phone around the table to introduce everyone to her first grandchild, who was born that morning.

Cheryl has good news!

I love how when we gather it is about so much more than just stamping.

Stampin’ Up’s statement of the heart summarizes it best, it says,

Stampin’ Up! Statement of the Heart

I hope that those who came to camp felt inspired, encouraged, supported and most of all loved.

Thank you for letting me share with you today. I hope you enjoyed these projects and the people who created them who mean so much to me!

With lots of love and aloha,

Cindy
