We Must Celebrate

The month of May was filled with many wonderful celebrations.  I am blessed to be a part of a company that allows me flexibility in my schedule so I could fully enjoy the very special events that happened this month.  I am also very grateful for friends who came along side of me to support me in so many ways!

One of those friends is my very talented downline, Jodi Hashimoto.  Since I was busy with my daughters wedding earlier this month, Jodi offered to design projects for my Stamped With Aloha downline meeting this month.

Jodi is an expert at creating "Critter" cards.  Whenever a new catalog comes out we quickly search to see what type of "Critter" stamps there are and look forward to see what Jodi will create next. Jodi designed all the projects for our gathering with this adorable retiring set, We Must Celebrate.

In this set you see this adorable family of critters.  A Squirrel, a Raccoon, a Bear and a Bunny.  Both Jodi and I used some precision scissors to cut our stamps apart so that these images could be used separately.  Here is an example of a card where two Bunnies were stamped side by side.

Another fun way to use the stamps when they are separated is to stack them on top of each other.  I think this was my favorite card of the bunch.

These cards also feature these super cute balloon embellishments.  They are colorful and add a great finishing touch to these stinkin' cute cards.

These cards also featured the stampin' Blends.  I love coloring with these amazing alcohol based markers.

I am very grateful to Jodi for coming to my aid and creating these projects to share with our group.  I had planned to be at the meeting that evening but after returning from the Big Island I ended up with some respiratory challenges.  I was really sick on our meeting night and it was the first time I can ever remember that I didn't attend a meeting because I wasn't feeling well.

It was good to know that the group was in good hands and that everyone who attended had a great time.

As the month of May comes to an end so does the end of our current catalog.  We will transition to a new catalog filled with beautiful new ink pad colors, new style ink pads, gorgeous stamp sets, delightful designer paper and amazing accessories.  Now that all the celebrations are ending I am looking forward to getting back into my stamp room and creating with our newest products.  Although this set will be retired I know there will be plenty of new favorites to use and share for future celebrations to come.

I hope you enjoyed this adorable projects as much as I enjoyed receiving them from Jodi.  Jodi has a blog, The Stampin' Owl that is really great and if you click HERE you can get a supply list with measurements for all Jodi used to create these adorable We Must Celebrate Critter Cards.

Until Next Time,
Happy Stampin'

Cindy
