Happiness Is Stampin' Up!
On Saturday, I hosted a special breakfast at my home for some of my newest downline members. This was a special incentive based gathering for all of my newest recruits as well as anyone in my downline who had recruited 2 during our recent Saleabration special. Everyone who was in attendance enjoyed breakfast, a game, a gift from me and a free class.
In my next post, I will share with you the four projects we made at this gathering. However today, I just want to share a little bit about the event as well as highlight the cute gift tin everyone received.
Before everyone arrived I set my dining room table and placed a gift tin on each person's plate.
I stamped the front of this tin with a "Happiness is Stampin' Up!" stamp I had received at an event many years ago.
I used Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper on the front of the tin because this was the featured product on the projects we made that morning.
It was fun to surprise everyone with this cute card tin that was waiting for them at their seat when they arrived.
For breakfast I served an egg casserole, portuguese sausage, fruit and some amazing homemade scones that my friend Cindy had baked the night before.
As we ate together, I had everyone share a little bit about themselves.
When Patty shared she said that she has been working on trying to make better food choices and Stampin' Up! has been great for her health. Patty went on to explain that when she passes the kitchen late at night rather than grab a snack, she grabs her Stampin' Supplies and sits at the kitchen table to work. Patty made us all laugh when she said she declares, "CARDS NOT CARBS". Who knew that stamping could be a great way to lose weight!
After breakfast we played a quick round of "Left, Right, Center" with small pieces of Naturally Eclectic Designer Paper as the items that got passed around the table during the game.
The winner of the game was Erin, who not only won all the Designer Series Paper but also received a card kit and ink pad.
I love how being a part of Stampin' Up! brings people together. I love the excitement that is shared when stampers gather and share creativity.
After spending the morning with these ladies I felt so blessed. I decided that I am going to host another event like this again in the very near future.
I feel so grateful for the many wonderful people who have become a part of my life since I joined Stampin' Up! almost 20 years ago!
I am also grateful to these who attended this incentive event and the blessing it was to get to know each of them a little better.
I hope that each time one of these ladies opens up their card tin they will remember our special gathering and the Happiness that was shared when we gathered together.
Happiness truly is Stampin' Up!
