TV-Themed Birthday Card Idea | Stampin' Up! Tune In Tutorial
Do you have a favorite TV show that you can watch over and over again? That's exactly how my friend Alec feels about MASH. When his birthday came around, I knew I had to create a special TV-themed birthday card using the Stampin' Up! Tune In Bundle.
This TV-themed design combines the Tune In TV die with our new Happiness Together Designer Series Paper and elegant Gold Foil Paper. To create that authentic television screen look, I added a window sheet over the sentiment - it really looks like glass! But here's the exciting part - I added a photo of the characters from the show MASH, Alec’s favorite! It's actually a fun fold gift card holder!

This design was such a hit that I created another version for my friend Cindy after we talked about The Golden Girls. She mentioned, "Do you know that when the Golden Girls filmed their show, they were younger than we are right now?" Whether that's true or not, it gave us a good laugh, and I couldn't resist making her own TV-themed version!
The reactions to these cards were priceless. Alec texted me saying, "Now that is like one of THE BEST CARDS I've ever gotten! How did you do that?? I was like, whaaaaat??? I love it so much!" When Cindy opened hers, her smile turned into delighted laughter.
That's what I love most about creating personalized cards - they truly brighten someone's day. If someone made this TV-themed birthday card for me, I'd want to see Donny and Marie Osmond or the Happy Days cast on that screen!
