I love creating tropical-themed projects so when I saw the new Tropical Leaf bundle I ordered it right away.
You won’t find this bundle in our catalog, it can be found in our online exclusive store. The online exclusive store is a new thing and we never know when items will sell out and whether they will be re-stocked or not, some will and some won’t and we won’t be told in advance. Read about the new Online Exclusive Store if you haven’t already.
From the moment my order arrived, I was anxious to create a handmade card. I struggled a bit at first and needed some inspiration so I turned to one of my favorite artists, Martin Stone—I love seeing the incredible projects he designs and his color combinations are so incredible. I found one of Martin’s cards and used it as a guide. As paper crafters we use the word “CASE”, which means Copy And Share Everything! So below you will see my “CASE” of Martin’s beautiful card.
I grabbed the following inks for a unique and creative color palette:
Shaded Spruce
Orchid Oasis
Calypso Coral
Granny Apple Green
Below, you can see Martin’s card on the left that inspired the first card I made with the Tropical Leaf bundle.
