Make A Thank You Card In 2 Minutes | Stampin’ Up! Artfully Layered
This week I created Thank You cards for Christmas gifts we received. I have lots of pre-made Thank You Cards in my studio but since our new January to June 2022 Mini Catalog is here, I was excited to use new products. Since I had several thank you cards to make I designed a quick one using the new ‘Artistically Layered’ stamp set. My goal was to finish this card in 2 minutes or less.
I was able to make this card in exactly 1 minute and 24 seconds. I then decided to “step up” the card by trimming 1/4 inch off the front and adding a strip of Evening Evergreen Card Stock to the inside. Even with adding this step, I was able to complete this card in less than 2 minutes. You can click on this video tutorial below and watch as I try and beat the clock.
I bet I could have completed it even faster had I not been explaining each part for the video.
I normally like cards with embossing, embellishments, and layering. However, sometimes it’s nice to create a quick and simple no-fuss card like this thank you card. It’s especially nice when you want to create several of the same cards. Since it was quick and simple, I stamped the envelopes to match using the exact same design.
When it comes to creating cards, I like to keep things simple but usually with added texture and BLING!!! I remember a day when every project I made had to be covered in Dazzling Diamonds Glitter? Can anyone else relate to that?
What kind of stamper are you? Do you like heavily layered cards that you have to put extra postage on when you mail them? Or do you like to use the “KISS”method (keep it simple stamper)? Leave a comment below and let me know your preference.
Well, I’m off to get these cards in the mail. Until next time!
Happy Stampin’,
Cindy
