Cute Handmade Cards You Can Make | Lots of Pun Paper Pumpkin Alternatives
I have been having “Lots Of Pun” with the December 2021 Pun-themed Paper Pumpkin kit. When I saw the stamp set for the first time, I fell in love with the fun faces and cute images.
In today’s post I want to share with you all the cute handmade cards I’ve created with this fun kit so far.
Let me start by sharing my Polaroid Pun cards. I created these three using the stamp set from the Lots of Pun kit.
Rather than use the “punny” sentiments, I choose words from the ‘Special Moments’ stamp set which is a part of our current Sale-A-Bration promotion. Let’s take a closer look at these 3 cards.
The first in the set is my Peanut Butter and Jelly card. This is my favorite of the collection.
If you’re wondering what I used to create their legs, you’ll have to watch the video tutorial at the end of this post. In the video, I highlight all the fun new products showcased on this card.
The next polaroid pun card features the banana image.
I love having the option to put a happy or sad face on the cute images in this kit.
The final card in this collection features two sunny side up eggs.
By adding a little color to the glasses I easily converted them into sunglasses. What an “egg”-stra special way to finish off this sunny and cute card.
Next, I am going to show you the project I made with the pieces that came in the kit. I decided to make a box set of note cards to give to my friend Mike. Why Mike? Because when I think of puns, I think of him because he often uses them and it makes me laugh when I hear his infectious laughter, cracking himself up!
So speaking of cracking…. I featured eggs on the front of Mike’s gift box. Also featured is the perfect punny sentiment that says, “you tell the best yolks”. I can’t wait till he sees this. I know it will make him smile.
Inside this box are a set of punny note cards I designed using pieces from the kit.
The first card featured is this all occasion have an “egg”-cellent day card.
I purposely put this card on top because it matched the egg design on the outside of the box.
The next two cards are banana cards. One can be used for a birthday or other celebratory event and the other is a thank you card.
After the banana cards there are two cherry cards. One happy and one sad. The happy is an all occasion appreciation card and the sad is a card to send someone who needs a little support. It’s always good to send a card to someone who is feeling down as it is sure to brighten their day.
The final card in this boxed set is this moldy bread card. This is a fun anniversary card. Now Mike will have the perfect card for his wife.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read my post today. I hope these punny cards made you smile.
Stamped Blessings,
Cindy
