Kisses and Hugs: Cute Paper Pumpkin Alternate Card Ideas
The January 2022 Paper Pumpkin Kit was filled with pretty heart-shaped tri-fold card bases and fun punch-out pieces. I combined the pieces in the kit with other Stampin’ Up! products I had in my studio and came up with 4 alternate card ideas.
If you’d like to learn how to create these cards watch the latest video tutorial.
For the first 2 cards, I used the heart-shaped, tri-fold card bases. I used some of the punch outs along with a few of the stamp images in the set. For the focal point, I used two of my favorite new stamp sets, Chasing Butterflies and Nuts and Bolts.
Let’s take a look at the Chasing Butterflies card first.
Here is the front of the card.
When you open this tri-fold card, it looks like this.
Isn’t this a sweet card?
The next card is very similar, except I used the adorable stamp set called Nuts and Bolts.
When you open this card you can see another Robot and a fun image that I stamped from the Nuts and Bolts stamp set. I can’t get enough of these cute Robot images!! They are so sweet!!
This Paper Pumpkin kit had a lot of great pieces to work with. I especially loved chopping up the envelopes. They were lined with this pretty “X-O” gold foil paper. I used a big piece of it on this card to provide a shiny background.
My final card was a pretty pink card that looked like this.
I used a rectangle die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to created a shiny scalloped background piece for my heart shaped images.
I had a lot of fun creating projects with this kit. The fun supplies in the January 2022 Kisses and Hugs kit made it easy for me to create cards that express love. I hope that when I send these cards out all who receive them will feel lots of love. After all when you receive a hand made card in the mail its kind of like getting a hug, wouldn’t you agree?
I hope you all had a happy and blessed Valentine’s Day!
Kisses and Hugs!
