Sending Hearts

Valentine’s Day will be here soon and thanks to the January 2021 Sending Hearts Paper Pumpkin Kit, I was able to create some really unique and fun creations. As soon as I opened up the kit and saw the cute snail stamp, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I wanted to find a way to make him move. So I got out some tiny magnets and created a fun moving magnet card.

Sending Hearts - Moving Magnet Card

When you pull on the tag sticking out of the right side of this card, a hidden valentine message is revealed! At the same time, the little snail magically slides across the front of the card and jumps onto the tag, where a second hidden message is found.

Since magnets were on my table I decided to use them again for my second project. I created a magnetic bookmarker card. I think these are such fun cards. I love that the recipient will enjoy a card with a useful book marker gift.

The red bookmark easily slides off the front of this card.

I also created a magnet bookmarker card using just the stamp set in the Paper Pumpkin kit. I used the Paper Blooms Designer Paper and came up with this card.

This book marker sits on the front of the card and when you remove it, a hidden valentine message is revealed.

Of all of the projects I created with this kit, my favorite was my Love Notes box. I created this using a Gold Mini Pizza Box.

Sending Hearts - Love Notes Box

I used the scrap pieces I had left in the Paper Pumpkin kit to create some sweet little love notes to put inside this box.

I gave this little box to my Mom who told me she has already tucked all of these little notes in a note card envelope and mailed them out for Valentine’s Day!

I think that is one of the things I love most about my job. It makes me happy to know that the projects I create or the projects I share in my classes, will get used to send love to others.

If you would like to learn how to create any of these projects I’ve shared in this post, I have good news!! I’ve created 3 video tutorials that you can watch by clicking on the links below.

I hope today’s post has inspired you with some fun ways to use your Sending Hearts Paper Pumpkin kit and remind you to send a little love, not just on Valentine’s Day but all through the year.

Sending lots of love and aloha,

Cindy
