Cookies + Cards = SMILES
I’ve always known that hand made cards are “smile makers” however, it has been fun to see people’s whole faces light up when they received their Cookie and Card kits!
In July, I held a Cute Fruit Fundraiser for the Hawaii Food Bank. My goal was to raise $800 in 2 weeks. I am happy to report that I not only reached that goal but because of the generosity of so many kind and thoughtful donors the total raised was over $1,300. I am so thankful for all who participated and helped me exceed my goal.
People donated in different ways. Some supported by purchasing a CUTE FRUIT card making kit which came with a private video tutorial. A portion of the class fee was donated to the Hawaii Food Bank.
Others donated directly to the Food Bank and I donated by giving a portion of my all my sales for the month to the Hawaii Food Bank.
To celebrate the end of the fundraiser, I hosted a LIVE Zoom event. During the event, I demonstrated how to make the Cute Fruit cards pictured above. My friend Cindy Ontai, of zoe hawaii, donated ADORABLE Cute Fruit Cookies to give away as prizes during that event.
Do you see how Cookies + Cards can create SMILES? Everyone LOVED her sweet cookie creations and those who won them during the event were so happy!.
Cindy and I have been doing projects together for years and were just about to launch a “Cookie and Card Collaboration”. We were going to launch our Emoji Mask Cookie and Card Class first. However, because of everyone loving the Cute Fruit Cookies and Cards, we made that our debut collaboration!
I wish I had a camera to take photos of the faces of those who picked up their Cute Fruit cookies and cards from me. On more than one occasion during the pick up’s I heard, “WHY DIDN”T I ORDER MORE OF THESE? THEY ARE SOOOO CUTE!!!” It makes me happy to be a part of making others happy!
We created two extra kits so we could hold a GIVEAWAY on Instagram. Yesterday, we announced the two lucky winners, Roxanne B and Ramona C, who will be receiving these Cute Fruit Cookie and Cards for FREE.
Cindy and I have been “cooking” up lots of fun ideas for Cookie and Card Collaborations that we will be offering over the next few months. I’m excited by the unique and fun ideas we’ve come up with and look forward to sharing them with you soon.
Until then, I just wanted to remind you that our current offering is our EMOJI MASK COOKIE AND CARD KIT. I don’t know how you and your family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, etc are handling the pandemic. To many this is a very stressful time. These Cookie and Card Kits provide you the opportunity to create some unique cards that come with coordinating cookies. You can keep them or share them to encourage the recipient and give them a reason to SMILE!
