So Santa
Did you know Christmas is 114 days from today? It will be here before you know it. I am really excited that in just 3 days, our brand new Holiday Catalog will go live and you can begin to order supplies and start working on your holiday projects.
As a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, we get to order things in advance. It probably won't surprise you to see that one of the first sets I ordered from the new catalog was called So Santa. This set contains this adorable Surfing Santa, who is holding of all things, a pineapple! Of course you know being the pineapple loving gal that I am, I'd love this stamp for sure!!!
It's a little hard to tell from this photo, but I scored the front of this card at 2 1/2 inches from the bottom. Can you see the scored dividing line between the Crumb Cake and Pool Party Card Stock? The bottom Crumb Cake Card stock is 2 1/4 x 4. The top Pool Party card stock is 2 3/4 x 4. I ran the Crumb Cake card stock through the Scattered Sequins Dynamic Texured Impressions folder. I ran the Pool Party Card Stock through a new Textured Impressions embossing folder called Swirls and Curls. I think its going to be one of my new favorite things!!
So Santa Card
When I attached the stamped and colored image, I only put dimensionals on the bottom so that it is only glued to the Crumb Cake part. That way when you fold the bottom of the card in, you see another Pool Party layer on the inside that you can use to prop up this adorable surfing Santa!
So Santa Pop Up Card
The Swirls and Curls Textured Impressions folder reminds me of the waves in the ocean. That is perfect for this surfing Santa who is ready to go for a ride!
The inside sentiment rests on top of the Pool Party textured card stock and I brushed Wink of Stella over various parts of the stamped image so that it would sparkle and shine.
