Tutti Fruitti Note Cards
At the beginning of March I received this adorable card from my friend demonstrator Cheryl Hamilton.
Cheryl's card was so cute that I decided to copy it and make it a part of my monthly stack class.
Since my class was going to feature Whisper White Note Cards, I adjusted the card stock to fit note card size.
I love this Pineapple Designer Paper! It is a part of the Tutti Frutti Designer Series Paper pack which is a 6 x 6 pack of Designer Paper. This paper is so beautiful, I love all the juicy fruit! I also love that the opposite side of the fruit design has some really great colorful patterns!
It was fun using this paper to create a whole stack of Tutti Frutti note cards.
Sometimes prepping and designing can take a long time. However once I created the first card, I copied the template and used it on all the cards.
Each of these cards has the same exact measurements. This is my 2 x 3 formula.
Background Card Stock - 3 1/4 x 4 3/4
Designer Series Paper on Bottom - 2 x 3
Focal Point - 2 x 3
Focal Point Background (raised with dimensionals) - 2 1/4 x 3 1/4
This formula is great when working with a 6 x 6 paper pack because when you cut the designer paper at 2 x 3 inches you don't have any waste.
Let's take a closer look at the cards.
This card featured not only the Tutti Frutti Designer Series paper but also the coordinating Fruit Basket stamp set. I love these cute strawberries, they look good enough to eat.
The next card featured products from our Bubble Over Photopolymer Bundle.
When I die cut the bottle, I used Daffodil Delight Card Stock and Vellum Card Stock to give the bottle a glassy look. I put the adorable detailed straw in between the layers and secured it with a glue dot that is hidden behind the stamped label.
The final card featured this cute bunny from the We Must Celebrate stamp set. The words "You are the Sweetest" from the Fruit Basket Stamp set are perfect for this Sweet Bunny card.
I was really pleased with how everything came together for this class. Everyone seemed to have a really great time including my friend demonstrator Natalie Travis was visiting from the mainland. I'm so glad she looked me up and came over to stamp with me.
The day after class I got a call from my friend Trisha who asked if her kids could come over to make some cards for their Grandparents. I asked Trisha if her kids would like to create one of the cards I had made for this class. The timing was perfect because I discovered that Noah loves Pandas.
And Omi loves Bunnies!
Omi was so precious when she was making her cards, she couldn't WAIT to put the flower with the rhinestone on her card. It was obvious that this adorable girly-girl loves sparkles. Her Mom told me her favorite color is gold!
I thought it was wonderful that Trisha provided an opportunity for her children to do something artistic and creative during their Spring Break. It was a Win-Win situation for me cause It provided me with an opportunity to see my friend Trisha!
It touched my heart to see how Noah and Omi carefully wrote notes and drew pictures to put in the cards they created as "thank you's" for their Grandparents!
What great examples these two cutie pies are in the importance of expressing gratitude and spreading a little ALOHA, one stamp at a time.
Thank you Cheryl for the suprise stamped blessing.
Thank you Stampin' Up! for the amazing Tutti Frutti paper!
Thank you Trisha, Noah and Omi for showing us all what it means to inspire, create and share!
